In 2012, Governor Phil Bryant laid out a broad set of objectives to ensure that the state’s strategic investment in the Port of Gulfport following Hurricane Katrina was successful. Each year, a Status Report of the Port of Gulfport Restoration Project is produced for the public to review. The purpose of these reports is to inform stakeholders and the public about the progress of the Port of Gulfport Restoration Project, from both the financial and construction perspectives, as well as describe in detail the accomplishments and challenges experienced by the Port since the publication of the 2013 inaugural report.
