Port Mechanic
Performs journey-level diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of gasoline, diesel, and electrically powered equipment requiring application of thorough mechanical knowledge and skills to solve most technical problems independently. Performs mechanical work on most of the Port’s light equipment. Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on support equipment systems: mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical.

Facilities Maintenance Technician
This position will work independently and collaboratively to maintain all Port Facilities; which includes waterfront docks, wharves, piers and fender systems constructed of steel, reinforced concrete and heavy timber; pre-engineered steel buildings; steel reinforced concrete aprons and loading docks; concrete and asphalt paved roads and parking lots; rail lines with switches and related equipment; surface and below grade utility systems; heavy industrial equipment including storage tanks and a water tower; fences, seawalls and breakwaters.
