The Port of Gulfport’s centralized location makes it an ideal partner for inbound and outbound maritime commerce. Strategically located on the northern Gulf of Mexico, just 18 miles from the open Gulf waters, the Port of Gulfport is readily available to service your containers and cargo.
With Interstate I-10 located approximately five miles north of the Port and Class 1 rail service provided by Kansas City Southern Railway Company (KCS), the Port offers rapid access to a majority of the U.S. market. The Port also offers convenient access to inland locations adjacent to the Mississippi River.
Deep Water Port
(Located off HWY 90 and 30th Ave.)
Encompassing 300 acres, the deepwater Port of Gulfport has more than 5,000 feet of berthing space, plentiful open storage space, and ample covered warehouse space (currently leased to tenants). There is also a specialized ramp built for roll-on-roll-off vessels, and the Port is equipped with three ship-to-shore gantry cranes.
WEST PIER TERMINAL INFO:
On its West Pier Terminal, the Port of Gulfport has two warehouses, Shed 16 and the West Pier Terminal Warehouse, which are leased by Dole, Chiquita and Crowley. The West Pier berths currently are:
Berth 2 – 600 feet LOA (draft 36 feet)
Berth 3 = 600 feet LOA (draft 36 feet)
Berth 4 = 550 feet LOA (draft 36 feet)
Berth 5 = 550 feet LOA (draft 36 feet)
Berth 6 = 740 feet LOA (draft 36 feet)
Berth 7 (including the cat walk) = 1100 feet LOA (draft 36 feet)
RoRo Berth = 750 feet LOA (draft about 36 feet)
EAST PIER TERMINAL INFO:
On its East Pier Terminal, the Port of Gulfport has two warehouses constructed of concrete and metal which are equipped with a dry pipe sprinkler system and have direct rail access. Shed 50 has 230,000 total gross square footage. Shed 53 has 60,240 total gross square footage and is currently leased to Ocean Aero.

SMALL CRAFT HARBOR INFO
The Small Craft Harbor is located outside of the secured port area and includes two wooden piers and a draft of 11 feet. Currently the harbor is being utilized by The University of Southern Mississippi and the Department of Marine Resources.
Inland Port Facility
(Located off Seaway RD in Gulfport)
The Inland Port Facility is located six miles north of the Deep Water Port and is an extension of the operations taking place at the Port of Gulfport. The 116-acre location allows for increased capacity of the Port by offering additional lay down area, rail access, and barge connections for current and future tenants. The Inland Port is currently being leased by Topship LLC, an Edison Chouest Offshore affiliate.
